Sirsa: Sadar Police Station Dabwali Police have registered a case in different stages of fraud against Palaram and Rajendra, residents of Bacher village, for cheating Rs 19.58 lakh in the name of buying and selling crops. In the complaint to the police, applicant Ajit Kumar, a resident of Sukera Kheda village, said that he was engaged in agriculture and owned his own land in Kheda Kheda village. Alongside this, he also cultivates the land of Satish Kumar by taking it by contract. In 2017 they grew rice, Ajit grew 301 quintals at 2,950 rupees per quintal for 88,8097 rupees and Satish gave 363 quintals at 2,950 rupees per quintal for 10,70,850 rupees to the accused Palaram businessman
While calculating Pala Ram, a resident of Kulwant Rai village, Ganga and Hal Mandi Dabwali, before Prakash Chand, resident of Mandi Dabwali, in Sukhera Kheda village, Ajit received a check for Rs. Gab a check for Rs. 70,850. When he deposited the checks with the bank, the bank canceled both checks and returned them. When he told Palaram about it, he said he should repay the amount in some time. After hesitating for several days, he appealed to the court. At the post-release hearing, the court compared what it found to be the correct signature on the check, and the bank officials involved were also subpoenaed. Officials said the checks issued by Palaram belonged to another account that was dishonored by the bank. The court then ordered the police to institute proceedings against Palaram. As a result of the complaint, the police registered a case and initiated further measures.
