Jind news: On the day of Karva Chauth, a woman’s marriage was ruined in Lohchab village of Jind district.The woman was observing the fast of Karva Chauth and was preparing to see the moon with her husband in the evening when the man tragically died when he was hit by a super seeder while sowing wheat in the field. As soon as the accident became known, there was chaos in the family. Chirag was the only son of a farming family. Sadar police station is investigating the matter.
According to available information, 23-year-old Somveer, a resident of Lohchab village, drove a tractor into the field on Wednesday morning to sow with a super seeder. Meanwhile, he got off the tractor and started examining the wheat seeds. As he got back on the tractor, his foot slipped and fell under the wheat seeder. Somveer was seriously injured. Local farmers took Somveer to the civil hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. Villagers said that Somveer was the only child in the family. She got married about 2 years ago. There was sadness in the village over Somveer’s death.
Sanjay Kumar, in-charge of Sadar police station, said information was received about the death of a farmer after he was hit by a wheat sower. The matter is currently under investigation.
