Rohtak. Special camps will be organized on December 16 and 17 to clear property and ID bills of people in the sector area. Recently, the sector welfare association had submitted this demand to the commissioner. In the second phase, the establishment of camps in other locations will be discussed. This order was issued by Corporation Commissioner Jitendra Singh. He attended meetings of various branch leaders and community officials in the office.

During the meeting, the Commissioner directed the officials and staff to provide benefits to the beneficiaries of all schemes implemented by the government. The Urban Project Branch officials were directed that the teams should work continuously to register all street vendors under the Prime Minister’s Street Vendor Self-reliant Fund (Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi, Swanidhi Se Samridhi). The street vendors and unregistered street vendors should be registered immediately. He directed the property tax department officials to take the work of the NDC portal seriously and delete the applications received there from the public as soon as possible. So that there is no inconvenience to the public. He also touched on the cleanliness campaign at the meeting. He ordered to carry out a campaign to clear piles of garbage from various places in the city.

The government is granting a special exemption from property tax for the current financial year until December 31, 2023. It is also required that the property information is self-certified. Till December, the government provided 15 per cent rebate on property tax for the current financial year and 100 per cent rebate on late payment interest i.e. 1.5 per cent interest amount from the year 2010-11 to 2022-23. This exemption is granted to those property owners who self-certify their property information on the Property Tax Duties and Tax Exemption Certificates Management System portal. The meeting was attended by Joint Commissioner Vijay Singh, Joint Commissioner Rakesh Saini, Executive Engineers Mandeep Dhankhar and Amit Kumar, Deputy Corporation Commissioner Jitendra Singh, Senior Accountant Vikas Gulia, Assistant Town Planner Tilak Raj, Municipal Secretary Meham, Kalanaur, Sampla and the Chief Sanitation part Inspector Sunder.
