Rohtak: A first year student in the Department of Microbiology at MDU’s Meghna Girls Hostel committed suicide by hanging herself. After the police received the information, they were there. Diksha, a first-year student at the Department of Microbiology, for unknown reasons, committed suicide by hanging herself in the dorm room. The late Charkhi was a resident of Ranila village in Dadri district. The dormitory students said that around 7 am Diksha entered the room through the back window as the room was locked from the outside. Deeksha also locked the room from the inside and hanged himself. When she reached out of the room at around 8 a.m. and opened the lock, the door was locked from the inside. Diksha went from behind and hung on the noose. He reported this to the director of the home. He informed the MDU administration and the police. The police reached the spot, took possession of the body and informed the relatives of the deceased. At the same time, an FSL expert was also on site collecting evidence. At around 9 a.m., the student’s body was picked up in the presence of the deceased’s relatives and sent for an autopsy. The police found neither a suicide note nor a chat on the phone. The police are investigating the case
The students said that there was a farewell party in the department on Thursday where Deeksha looked happy. I don’t understand why he suddenly took such a big step. At the same time, the family members of the deceased said that Deeksha called her mother around 6 p.m. in the evening, but it was not clear from her words that she was about to take such a big step. Finally, why Diksha committed suicide only becomes known after an investigation.
