Rewari: A young man who worked in a company in Dharuhera ended his life by consuming toxic substances. Based on the suicide note found in the deceased’s pocket, the police have registered a case against two youths from his village for forcing him to commit suicide. Police started sending the suicide note to FSL for investigation. The body was handed over to the family after the autopsy.
22-year-old Rohit, a resident of Khatodara village in Mahendragarh, had recently worked in a company in Dharuhera. After coming to work on Friday, he consumed poisonous substances in the evening. After finding out, colleagues took him to a hospital in Bhiwadi where he died during treatment. After receiving the information, the police and family members of the deceased reached the hospital. Police took the body into custody and conducted an autopsy. Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased also handed over the suicide note found in his pocket to the police.
Millions of rupees spent on Mahadev app
In the suicide note, Rohit wrote that Satish and Amit from the same village made him download the betting app Mahadev. He had made her deposit around Rs 7 lakh through the app. He had transferred five lakh rupees from his father’s account. The remaining amount was deposited from the mother and brother’s accounts. These people pressured him to deposit more money into the app. He and his father were threatened with destruction. After the case against the two accused was started, the police began searching for them.
