Rewari: Three youth from the district who had gone to attend a wedding ceremony in Rajasthan were shot dead. During the shooting, one teenager died from two gunshots and two teenagers were seriously injured. All three youths are residents of Garhi Bolni village in the district. The two injured youths were admitted to a private hospital in the city. After receiving the information, police reached the spot, took possession of the body and began investigation.

Bijendra Yadav, a resident of Garhi Bolni village, had gone to Makdawa Matalwas village in Rajasthan with his son Sahil’s wedding procession. During the wedding procession, the young people who came from outside in the car suddenly started shooting. In multiple gunshots, 20-year-old Aman, 25-year-old Vikas and 26-year-old Naveen, residents of Garhi village, were shot dead. All three were hit by two bullets each. Aman died after being shot in the chest. While Vikas and Naveen are seriously injured. Vikas was shot in one hand and the other in the shoulder. Naveen has bullet fragments near his chest and back. The residents of Garhi village said that late Aman’s wedding was scheduled to take place in February next year and Vikas was scheduled to get married on December 15 next month.

Argument about old rivalry

After the shooting during the wedding ceremony, panic spread throughout the village. However, it is not yet clear what hostility led to the three teenagers being shot and by whom. Kotkasim police station officer Mahavir Singh Shekhawat said that a wedding of Ashok Yadav’s daughter took place at Makdawa Matalwas village in Kotkasim area on Tuesday. The wedding procession had come from Garhi village in Rewari in Haryana. At around 10:30 p.m., an argument broke out among the wedding guests over an old rivalry. One side opened fire on the other. According to the girl’s uncle Pawan Yadav, the wedding procession had reached his house from Dharamshala around 10:30 pm. Meanwhile, some distance from Dharamshala, there was a dispute over some issue in which a bullet was fired. People from outside informed the police and the police came and collected complete information.
