The first recruitment of Agniveers has started from Friday in Hisar Cantt. There was a craze among the youth regarding recruitment. On the first day 1453 youth took part in the recruitment. The youth of Hisar, Fatehabad, Sirsa and Jind districts are participating in the recruitment. This recruitment will run till August 29. Earlier, from the late night of Thursday, the youth had reached outside Hisar Cantt to participate in the recruitment process. At around 5 in the morning, the gate was opened for the youth who came for recruitment to go to the cantonment premises. Adequate arrangements were made for the recruitment from the Army Recruiting Office. The recruitment process is being done under the supervision of 40 CCTV cameras.

After seeing the applications of the youth who joined the recruitment, 1453 youths were first run. Beam beams were installed from the youth who were successful in the race. After this, the youth was jumped from the top of the 9-foot pit and balance on the jic jack. During this, the weight, height of the youth were also checked. The youth who pass in all these parameters will have medical on Saturday. A written examination will be taken on 16 October at Hisar Cantt campus for the youth who have passed the medical on behalf of the recruitment office.

As per the recruitment office the candidates participating in the recruitment affix their latest self attested passport size photograph on the admit card. Candidates should bring print out of online admit card at rally venue, original proofs like original mark sheet, school, college leaving certificate, domicile certificate, Aadhar card, fifteen copies of latest passport size photograph with them. If you have NCC Certificate, Sports Certificate, ITI Diploma Certificate, Light Motor Vehicle Driving License, bring that too.

Section 144 implemented in Cantt area during Agneepath recruitment rally

District Collector Dr. Priyanka Soni has issued orders for imposition of Section 144 in Cantt area Hisar (recruitment site) till August 26, in order to maintain law and order during the Agripath Recruitment Rally. The District Magistrate has imposed Section 144 in the Cantt area for maintaining law and order under the Indian Penal Procedure Rules, 1973. According to the order issued, the Superintendent of Police Hisar/Hansi, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Duty Magistrate and the concerned station in-charge will ensure that the above orders are followed. He said that if any person is found guilty of disobeying these orders, then strict action will be taken against him under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Procedure Code.
