The police took the accused into custody for eight days and began interrogation. Aman, a resident of Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, had stated in his complaint to Dadri police that he works at a crushing plant in Mankawas village. He was well acquainted with Neeraj, a resident of Samaspur.
Aman said that one day Neeraj told him that he knew some people who were being recruited into the army for money. They take some of the money upfront and the rest after they get the job. He was told that he could get recruitment for general service and recruitment as a clerk in the army for 6 lakh rupees. Rs 8 lakh will be spent on hiring a shopkeeper. Of this, Rs 2 lakh has to be paid in advance and Rs 1.5 lakh on receipt of merit and the remaining Rs 2.5 lakh has to be paid after joining. The victim said that since he was unemployed, he took Neeraj’s words as true and transferred Rs 2 lakh to Neeraj’s account in July 2021. Afterwards we both drove to Danapur in Bihar. Where two people filled the forms and conducted the medical examination in a private room in Danapur Kent. In addition, after a few days, a call letter was sent to his home. When he showed the employment letter to his acquaintances, it turned out to be a forgery.
The victim said that he fell into her trap. They used various tactics to make the recruitment seem authentic. After a few days, a merit list was sent over phone and asked for 1.5 lakh rupees. I gave Neeraj 1.5 lakh rupees in his village Samaspur. The call letter was then received in the mail 10-15 days later. In it, I received a training letter on my behalf for the post of DG of Danapur Army Cantt, Patna Bihar. On which was affixed the seal of Commander Danapur. Aman said when he questioned many experts about the letter, it turned out to be a fake. The victim stated that he was not the only victim of fraud, but that he also gave the defendant the money of half a dozen children.
Lucknow Cyber Crime Police Station and Military Intelligence Team took effective action in the case and managed to arrest an accused from Patna. The accused has been identified as Sunil Kumar, a resident of Bihar. Who was produced before the court and remanded in custody for 8 days.

Accused Sunil said that locals also live in Danapur Cantt. The gang members used to call children from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Haryana and make them sign fake medical documents, OMR etc. in a private room. Then they prepare fake documents and send fake joining letters to their homes by mail. Many people have been working in this gang since 2020. Who live in places like Punjab, Himachal, Delhi etc. They committed fraud by taking money from hundreds of children from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Haryana by creating fake documents.
