Petrol pumps closed: Private petrol pumps in Haryana will remain closed for two days, association announces strike

Petrol pumps closed in Haryana: All private petrol pumps in Haryana will remain closed on March 30 and 31. The Petroleum Dealers Association Haryana announced this for not increasing the commission. The strike lasts from March 30 at 5 a.m. to April 1 at 5 a.m. At the same time, the state-run petrol pumps remain open. The association’s state president Sanjeev Choudhary said that commission of pump dealers has not been increased by the state oil authorities since last year.

There is deep anger among all petrol pump dealers about this. Several rounds of discussions were held with government authorities to increase the commission, but no hearing took place. That’s why it was now decided to switch off the pump. However, this decision could cause problems for the general public. On the other hand, companies close to transport will also be affected.

Commission not increased

The President said that all petrol pump dealers have long been demanding that the state authorities increase oil commissions. When petrol was around Rs 65, a commission of Rs 2 per liter is given for diesel and Rs 3 for petrol. Now oil costs around 100 rupees but the commission has still not been increased.
