Now, blood test reports will be available to patients the next day once they take a scan on the phone. A QR code has been created by the HIMS department for the patients coming to the OPD. He informed that after scanning the QR code and entering the UHID number of the patient’s OPD card, the OTP will be sent to the mobile number provided at the time of creating the card and once the OTP is entered, the patient’s report will be available on his cell phone. This digital revolution will not only save paper but also ensure that patients do not have to waste their time in long queues to receive reports. Director Dr. SS Lohchab said that through this QR code the patient can get the details of their reports for the last 6 months. The scan was linked to the e-treatment website. His aim is to provide quality medical care to the patients who visit the institute.

Medical Superintendent Dr. Kundan Mittal said that through this scan, the patient can get all blood tests including complete hemogram, urine, LFT, KFT, RFT, blood sugar, thyroid etc. at home the next day on the phone and he will get the Report. You don’t have to wait 3 days for this. The patient’s treatment can begin on time. This scan allows patients admitted to the ward to receive their reports quickly.
