Sonipat: On Diwali festival, a 20-year-old youth was kidnapped from his house and killed in Pinana village under Mohana police station. The young man was brutally beaten to death by his friends. The accused friends fled the scene after committing the murder. After receiving the information, police reached the spot, took possession of the body and began investigation. The deceased was identified as Tarun. On the complaint of the deceased’s uncle, the police registered a case against the accused Ajay alias Chhota, Rajat and others.

According to the information, friends turned the Diwali festival in Pinana village into a mourning festival due to mutual rivalry. A few days ago, Tarun, a resident of Pinana village, had a quarrel with some friends of the same village and during this time there was a mutual reconciliation, but Tarun’s friends were constantly harboring a grudge. On the occasion of a holy festival like Diwali, the accused picked up Tarun from his home, took him to the fields across the Pinana-Bohla road and brutally murdered him. There are also many marks of sticks on Tarun’s body. The defendant fled the scene. After receiving the information, police reached the spot, took possession of the body and started searching for the accused.

Late Tarun lived separately from his parents. He underwent coaching for a job in Sonipat. The accused committed the crime out of rivalry. After the incident, injured Tarun called his uncle and gave him all the information. Tarun’s uncle and brother took Tarun injured to Civil Hospital where the doctor declared him brought dead. On the complaint of late Tarun’s uncle, the police registered a case against the accused Ajay alias Chhota, Rajat and others and initiated investigation. The police are looking for the accused.
