Nuh: The demand for a women’s university in Haryana’s only Nuh district among the country’s backward districts has now taken the form of a mass movement. Not only from film actresses and politicians to girls, but also from abroad, the demand for Mewat Women’s University is increasing. The number of fans of Sunil Jaglan, the former Sarpanch of Bibipur village and father of the “Selfie with Daughter” campaign, who greatly increased the demand for the university, is also increasing rapidly. The university’s decades-old demand is expected to be met before the Lok Sabha elections.
Sunil Jaglan said that when he was the sarpanch of Bibipur village, the Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao campaign was launched from the village. It became a mission of the Indian government. This is Mewat’s biggest request today. He receives support not only from the country but from all over the world. The Prime Minister also writes letters to the Indian government from Canada, Australia and America. Aside from the Nuh girls, girls from many counties across the state also write postcards. Over 2000 postcards were written. Very positive results will be visible in 5 – 6 months. Mewat’s dream come true. He said most girls don’t complete their studies and are unable to continue studying. The government seems completely sensitive. The Prime Minister will understand Mewat’s problem and he himself is sensitive to the girls here, especially the daughter. He’s busy getting the matter across to them through postcards.
Actor Sonu Sood has endorsed his campaign. That being said, all YouTubers, social people, and politicians who speak out openly should support Mewati University. He said the government is fully confident that the demand will come and that the demand can be met in a good way, taking into account all aspects on the ground. A university for a population of about 15 lakhs is to be built soon. Postcards are constantly being written. After the Nuh violence, the speed of writing postcards slowed down somewhat, but postcards are written from different parts of the country and this has informed the Prime Minister. Once the girls’ sentiment reaches the government, Mewat University’s solution is inevitable.
Congressional MLA and CLP Vice-Chairman Aftab Ahmed said that in line with the university’s request, the Congressional government announced plans to open the MDU’s regional center at Nagina College. We know that good universities are needed to produce today’s talent. Instead of concentrating on the university, this government didn’t even pay attention to basic education, but ruined it. This topic will also be discussed vigorously in the assembly. In his manifesto he had promised the people that if he took power he would found a university. Even today we still demand that the university is our right, we should get a university. To reduce unemployment, we should get a university.
