Haryana: The Government of Haryana has decided to introduce Aadhaar card based attendance in all training centers in the state operating under Haryana Skill Development Mission for training of youth. In the first phase, a pilot project was started in three training centers, which was successful. In view of this success, Aadhaar cards will now be started in all training centers across the state for the participation of young people.

The Director of Haryana Skill Development Mission, Dr. Vivek Aggarwal, said that short-term skill development training sessions will be organized at training centers in collaboration with training partners across all districts of the state. Many training courses such as Assistant Electrician, Data Entry Operator, Beautician, Warehouse Packer, Operator, Junior Analyst, Self-employed Tailor, Yoga Instructor, Installation Technician and Artisan Baker are conducted in these training centers. These trainings last three to four months in various NSQF-oriented courses. He said that some complaints were received about the presence of youths undergoing training in various training centers of the Haryana Skill Development Mission following which the mission took action and opened three training centers on a pilot basis at Kurukshetra, Indri (Karnal). Card based electronic verification system Aadhar introduced. The result was satisfactory, which is why the mission will soon implement it in all centers of the state in the future.
