According to the Public Works Department, this bridge, built at a cost of 14 crores in 2018, was damaged in just four years. A major accident can happen at any time
A serious accident can happen at any time due to the collapse of the expansion joint on the bridge of the Nizampur railway line. The responsible officials do not take this into account. The bridge construction was carried out to solve the congestion problem in the market. The railroad and contractor prepared this bridge for 14 crores in 2018 and handed it over on behalf of the public.
The traffic is too heavy
Because the bridge is narrow, two large vehicles cannot easily pass due to the many curves. Vehicle drivers must be very careful when exiting the parallel road. Because of this, the jam problem in the market has remained unchanged. Now the bars and iron plates in the expansion joint of this bridge have broken. That’s not us, this picture is the witness of it. The people of the region have expressed their anger over this matter.
The railway is responsible
JE Sumer Singh from the Public Works Department was discussed in this matter and then provided information and said that this matter is not the Public Works Department but the Railway Department and he can do something in this regard.
