Narnaul: Haryana, NCR, Delhi and especially Mahendragarh district have once again been completely hit by pollution and toxic winds. Due to the activation of Western Disturbance, there was relief in toxic winds and pollution caused by rains and fast winds just before Diwali, but illegal firecrackers and fireworks on the night of Diwali again affected Haryana NCR Delhi and especially Mahendragarh district turned into a gas chamber .

The meteorologist and environmentalist Dr. Chandramohan said that in the present scenario, the main reason for the increase in pollution in Mahendragarh district and Haryana Delhi NCR is the persistent west-northerly winds from the Himalayan ranges across the area. In Haryana Delhi NCR and especially in Mahendragarh district, pollution is becoming worse as stubble burning activities are being carried out on a large scale in Punjab, Rajasthan and the parts of Haryana adjoining Punjab. The westerly northerly winds pushed it towards Haryana NCR Delhi and Mahendragarh district, increasing pollution. Apart from this, the best efforts of the district administration and government continue to be made throughout the area and the guidelines and rules are continuously ignored. Illegal crushing zones, mining activities, construction work on roads, federal highways, state highways, other multi-purpose construction works where dump trucks, trolleys and trucks drive on them, as well as uncontrolled transport, large transport. Long traffic jams, Diwali festival season, strict government and administration orders during cricket matches, excessive and illegal fireworks despite restrictions have further increased the level of pollution.

After Diwali festival, the air quality index of Narnaul in Mahendragarh district fell sharply. On Wednesday, Mahendragarh’s Narnaul district broke the record of the last five years and was included in the list of three most polluted cities in India. According to the Haryana State Pollution Control Board and the Central Pollution Control Board as of 12.30 pm on Thursday, Haryana ranks first among polluted cities across India with an air quality index of 479. It was recorded continuously from afternoon to evening between 435 and 450. The condition was serious to very serious. Due to persistent northerly winds in Haryana NCR Delhi, temperatures are falling across the area. Due to increase in smog, smoke and haze in Haryana NCR Delhi and especially Mahendragarh district, choking toxic winds and pollution have started choking the breath of common people. Air pollution and toxic winds have increased particulate matter of all toxic gases. Neither rain nor strong winds are expected in the coming days, as no significant weather system will be active for a week. Wind and rain help remove the fine dust particles (PM) present.

However, due to the disturbance in the Bay of Bengal, Haryana NCR Delhi will witness only partial light rainfall in the next two to three days due to light humid easterly winds as the impact of this weather system borders the regions bordering the Bay of Bengal. Will only be seen in the states. In the present scenario, the climate in Haryana NCR Delhi is in a very poor condition while the environment in Mahendragarh district has reached critical condition due to the poison being washed into the air. The choking winds worry the common people. From children to the elderly to young people, everyone is in great distress due to inhalation of toxic gases and winds. Air pollution has peaked in Haryana Delhi NCR and especially in Mahendragarh district. The air quality here falls into the “concerning” category, which is a cause for concern. Public participation and involvement as well as efforts of the government and district administration can be helpful in eliminating this problem.
