The work of installing bus induction, digital board, LED lights and GPS in the station has started and cost Rs 55 lakh. Once construction is completed, all requirements of Ardash station will be met after 17 years.

We would like to inform you that the Central Government has decided to expand facilities at various railway stations in the country. Under Amrit Yojana, various construction works are being carried out at 15 railway stations in Bikaner division. Mahendragarh-Bhiwani Lok Sabha, Mahendragarh, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri and Narnaul railway station have also been included in this project. Recently, MP Dharmbir Singh had also visited the station along with railway officials. Passengers will benefit greatly from the installation of bus induction, digital board, LED lights and GPS at the local station. Passengers can easily find out about rail transport.

The first train ran in 1942

We tell you that the survey work for the Rewari-Bikaner railway line was started in 1936. The survey work was completed a year later, in 1937. In 1940, a meter gauge line was laid from Rewari to Bikaner and in 1942, the first meter gauge train was operated from Delhi to Bikaner. In 2008 the meter wide gauge was laid. After this, the laying of power line from Rewari to Sadalpur was started in 2020 and testing of the power line was started in 2021, but the operation of electric train on this route has not started yet.

This work will be carried out at the station

Under the AMRUT scheme, various construction works costing Rs 13.59 billion are being carried out at the local railway station. Separate entrance and exit gates will be built at the station. Their routes are also being improved. The beautification of the station’s traffic area and parking facilities will be increased. The station building is being modernized. In addition, improvements will also be made to the booking office, relaxation room and waiting hall. A 17-foot-wide footbridge will also be constructed for disabled people.
