Mahendragarh – The Diwali festival is just around the corner. In such a situation, firecracker dealers have started secretly collecting supplies. The CIA team searched Shankar Colony Railway Road and recovered firecrackers worth around Rs 1.50 lakh. Police have arrested the accused of illegal storage of firecrackers and registered a case as he did not even have a license for storage and sale of firecrackers. The arrested person has been identified as Mayank Vasi, Shankar Colony Railway Road.
The CIA team received classified information from Mukhbir Khas about the storage of illegal firecrackers on Shankar Colony Railway Road. When the police received this information, they immediately arrived on the scene and searched the said location. The police questioned a person present there and checked the store. Explosive firecrackers stored in boxes were seized. Police have recovered firecrackers worth around Rs 1.50 lakh. The police registered a case under the Explosives Act with the city police and arrested the accused.
