Mahendragarh: Fire broke out at four places in the area within two and a half hours on Thursday. After arson was carried out together within a short period of time, the fire brigade team had to fight with all their might to bring the fire under control. The fire brigade faced great difficulties in reaching one place after another.

According to information received, a fire broke out at around 12 noon in the Kadbi, which was located in the field of farmer Vinod Kumar, a resident of Jonawas village. Half of Vinod Kumar’s fort was reduced to rubble. People nearby informed the fire department about the fire. After receiving information, the fire brigade team reached the spot and controlled the fire. Thereafter, at around 12.30 pm, a kadbi kept in the field of Chitlang village caught fire. The fire reduced half of the fort of farmer Ratan Singh, a resident of Meghnavas village, to ashes. The fire team reached the spot and rescued the two forts of Ratan Singh. In addition, a fire suddenly broke out in the field of Sisoth Village at around 1 p.m. People nearby informed the fire department about the fire.

The fire engine reached the spot and brought the fire under control. Due to the fire in the field, the three hectares of land belonging to farmer Dharampal, a resident of Rivasa village, was reduced to ashes. The fire engine saved the nearby guar fruit. After this, a fire suddenly broke out in the field of Patheda village around 2.30 p.m. The villagers informed the fire department about the fire. The fire brigade reached the spot and brought the fire under control. One and a half hectares of farmer Amar Singh, two hectares of Shaitan Gujjar and one hectare of Kadbi of Ransingh were burnt to ashes in the fire. Due to the arson in four places in a short time, the fire brigade had to fight a lot.

Firefighter Vikas Kumar urged farmers to burn what was left of their crops. In addition, the farmers kept the crops under power cables. Farmers should gather their crops away from power lines and poles. In the event of a power failure, the sparks emitted from the power cords can cause damage to the crop. The fire incidents wasted six months of hard work by the farmers.
