Mahendragarh: Due to a friendship on Instagram, a girl was called to a hotel and raped. A case was registered in the presence of the legal advisor of Ateli Police and a case was initiated based on the statement of the minor victim. The victim is said to be a minor. The rape accused is a resident of a village adjoining Ateli in Rajasthan. He had just completed his army training and had come to his village on leave. The victim hails from UP and lives in Rewari.

In the complaint filed with the police, the victim said that she had befriended a young man on Instagram from a village in Rajasthan next to Ateli town. The conversation with him continued. He found friends in his communication. On Sunday, the young man called her to a hotel in the town of Ateli and wronged her. Police station in-charge Munesh Kumar said the complainant came to Ateli police station and said she was a minor. In this regard, the police assured immediate action and the presentation of his age certificate. The complainant showed his date of birth in the Aadhar card late on Monday evening in which he is a minor. Based on the victim’s statement, the police take further action. The police took the victim’s statement and registered the case in the presence of the legal advisor. The police are thoroughly investigating the case and trying to catch the accused.
