Lok Sabha election 2024: Kuldeep Bishnoi kept his distance from BJP candidate Ranjit Chautala, is not campaigning, knows the reason

Lok Sabha election 2024: In Haryana, the BJP has canceled the ticket of former chief minister Chaudhary Bhajanlal’s family for this year’s Lok Sabha elections, leaving Kuldeep Bishnoi very upset. For this reason, he has distanced himself from the election campaign of BJP candidate Ranjit Chautala from the Hisar Lok Sabha seat.

Dominance of Bhajanlal family in Hisar Lok Sabha seat

The Bhajanlal family has contested elections in Hisar district four times in a row. In 2009, former CM Bhajanlal had won the elections from Hisar. After that, in 2011, Kuldeep Bishnoi contested the by-election and won. In 2014, Kuldeep Bishnoi contested elections in Hazkan but Dushyant Chautala defeated him. In 2019, Kuldeep Bishnoi’s son Bhavya Bishnoi contested the elections but lost to BJP candidate Brijendra Singh.

Kuldeep had claimed the Hisar seat

In March 2022, Kuldeep Bishnoi left the Congress and joined the BJP. After this, his son Bhavya Bishnoi contested the BJP by-election to the Assembly. Thereafter, Kuldeep Bishnoi staked claim to his Hisar seat in this year’s Lok Sabha elections, but this year he was not heard in the BJP high command and Ranjit Chautala, son of former deputy prime minister Chaudhary Devi Lal, was inducted into the party and dumped the ticket. It is said that he was an independent MLA till now.
