Khelo India National Ranking Women's Archery Competition: Deepti Kumari from AIPSCB unit achieved first place

Mustard The two-day Khelo India National Ranking Women’s Archery Competition ended on Tuesday at the Northern Regional Center of Sports Authority of India, SAI, Bahalgarh. MP Ramesh Kaushik and SAI Director Lalita Sharma honored the winners by presenting them with prizes. Senior Recurve Women’s First Ranking of the AIPSCB Deepti Kumari competition achieved by the unit. He was awarded a prize of Rs 5 lakh.

During the competition, Rajini Marko from Madhya Pradesh took first place in the Senior Compound Women’s category. Junior Recurve, Junior Compound, Sub Junior Recurve Girls and Sub Junior Compound Girls also took place. The Khelo India National Ranking Women’s Archery Competition is held under the banner of Archery Association of India and Haryana Archery Association. About 100 players from across the country took part in the competition, of which 96 players advanced through shooting in their respective categories on the first day. The final of all players took place on Tuesday.

The competition was organized in 6 categories. Ranking up to 16 of each category has been published. The competition was opened by former Cabinet Minister and Haryana Archery Association President Captain Abhimanyu on Monday. He inspired players to take up the sport. In honoring all the players, SAI Executive Director Lalita Sharma wished them a bright future, saying that players can learn a lot from such competitions. He learns of their preparations.
