Police arrested the accused who posted an obscene video on fake Instagram.
Karnal: Police station cyber team headed by Inspector Sanjeev Malik and ASI Mukesh arrested accused Harsh Kesari, resident of Bhola Colony Idgah Road Delhi East, who edited photos and videos and made them viral using a fake Instagram ID and cash from Delhi demanded. The police produced the accused before the court from where he was sent to jail.
In her complaint filed with the police on November 22, the complainant alleged that someone created a fake account in her name on Instagram and sent her obscene photos and videos with her image. The accused also demanded Rs 100,000. When he refused to pay the money, the accused edited the complainant’s photo and video from his fake Instagram account and made it viral on social media. The defendant also threatens her not to report the matter to the police. Based on the victim’s complaint, a case was registered against the accused with the cyber police and an investigation was initiated. In this case, the accused Harsh was arrested by the cyber team of Delhi police station. The accused was produced before the court and sent to prison.
