Karnal: MoU signed between Haryana Police Academy and National Defense University

Karnal: A memorandum of understanding has been signed between the Haryana Police Academy and the Gujarat National Defense University in Madhuban for training and capacity building of Haryana police personnel. With the signing of the MoU, Haryana Police has joined the select police forces in the country affiliated with the National Defense University. In this series, a meaningful initiative has been taken to leverage the expertise of these universities by collaborating with the National Forensic Science University and the National Defense University for capacity building and technical advice in the field of internal security. The Director General of Police formed a committee under the chairmanship of Dr. CS Rao, Director of Haryana Police Academy with members of Inspector General of Administration Sanjay Kumar and Deputy Director of FSL Arvind Hooda for cooperation activities and preparation of MoU with National Defense University. The final draft of the MoU was prepared by the committee after detailed discussions with the officials of the National Defense University, which was sent to the Haryana government and approved.

With the signing of the MoU by the representatives of both institutions, this agreement came into force for five years from today. Which can be further expanded in the future as needed. With this agreement, both institutions have agreed to cooperate for mutual benefit and share resources in the areas of education, research, consultancy and training programs. To synergize with the expertise of the National Defense University for accreditation of academic programs, enhancing skills and training programs, security and research, promoting innovation, training and introducing online education through various institutions established under the aegis of the National Defense University .
