Rewari Crime News:A husband severely beat up his pregnant wife for not bringing the Kanyadaan amount provided by the government at the time of marriage. Police began investigating the case after registering a case against her husband, sister-in-law and mother-in-law based on the victim’s statements.
In the statement to police, Soni, wife of Satish, a resident of Nohrugarh, said that she was married to Satish some time ago. His mother had married by taking a loan. At the time of marriage, her mother repaid the marriage loan with the Kanyadaan amount provided by the government. Soni alleged that her husband and in-laws constantly beat her for demanding kanyadaan money. Her husband threatens to commit suicide if she doesn’t bring the Kanyadaan money. At this point she is pregnant. Her husband, sister-in-law, and mother-in-law beat her when they demanded to bring money. Based on his statement, the police have initiated a case against the accused in various sections.
