Jind news:In Chandralok Colony, it proved costly for a young man to shoot a video of himself firing someone else’s gun into the air and upload it to Instagram. The city police station has registered a case against the youth who uploaded the video under various sections, including the Arms Act and spreading terror, and has initiated an investigation. The defendant has not yet been arrested.

When a video of a youth firing in the air in Chandralok Colony went viral on Instagram, the police swung into action. As investigation continued, it was found that Ram Avtaar, a resident of Kheda village, had come to Chandralok Colony a few days ago. The accused took someone’s revolver and shot him in the air, a video of which was made and uploaded to Instagram and social media. During the investigation, it turned out that Ram Avtaar did not even have a licensed revolver. Uploading the video of the shooting on social media was used to spread panic and thus encourage criminal tendencies. The city police station has registered a case against Ramavatar under various sections, including the Sessions Act, and has initiated an investigation.

City police investigating officer Satish Kumar said a case has been registered against the accused. The matter is currently under investigation.
