HTET Exam: Due to malfunction of biometric machine in Sonipat, problems increased, queue formed

Sonipat. On Sunday, the second day of the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test, candidates faced problems in the morning session due to a malfunction in the biometric machine. Due to malfunction of four biometric machines at Hindu College exam center, candidates’ attendance could not be accepted even though officials closed the gate at 9 am and gave all candidates who reached the exam center an opportunity to enter the exam center. The investigation then began. There was a long queue of candidates who had to register their attendance biometrically.

For the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test, 30 exam centers have been set up for the morning session on Sunday. Amid tight security arrangements at these centers, 9176 candidates will appear for the exam. Candidates were allowed to enter the exam from 7:50 a.m., which began at 10:00 a.m. The entrance closed at 9 a.m. Apart from Hindu College, the system remained fine in other centers. The exam ends at 12 p.m.

Similarly, 14 exam centers have been set up in the district for the evening exam where 4034 candidates will take the exam.
