Hisar: Teenager who went swimming in canal drowned in strong current, body recovered

Hisar: A 13-year-old teenager went for bathing near Syahdwa village and drowned due to strong current. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot, retrieved the body from the canal and sent it to the dead house for post-mortem. The deceased has been identified as Bhavishya, resident of Bhagat Singh Nagar, 12 Quarter Road.

Manoj Kumar, father of late Bhavishya, said that he worked as a painter and had three children. Future was the youngest son among them. The deceased’s maternal aunt, Mamta, said that Bhavishya went to the temple for worship on September 20. After that, he came home and left the house saying that he would come back after some time, but he didn’t come home until the evening. Afterwards he searched around but couldn’t find him. Future’s friends said that these seven to eight friends took the elevator to the Raipur canal to take a bath. Future drowned while swimming in the canal. He got scared and came to his house. Thereafter, the police conducted a search operation in the canal and recovered the body of Bhavishya in the miner of Shaydwa village. Police conducted postmortem of the body at the Civil Hospital and handed it over to the family members.
