Hisar: A youth riding a bike died in a collision with an unknown vehicle near the nearby Panihar Chak village. The deceased, aged around 25, was a resident of Siwani Mandi. The family’s only son, Chirag Pawan, worked in a private hospital in Hisar and went to his house in Siwani Mandi after his duty on Friday evening. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took the body into custody and sent it to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
In the complaint filed with the police, the deceased’s father Vijay said that his son Pawan was working as a compounder in a private hospital in Sector 15 of Hisar. He used to ride his bike to work. Late on Friday evening, he was returning from duty to Siwani Mandi on his bike when an unknown vehicle from Hisar side hit his son’s motorcycle from behind about half a kilometer from Panihar Chak Mode. As a result of this collision, he suffered serious head injuries and died on the spot. He has two girls and a boy. The boy is about 25 years old and married. He has a 9 month old daughter. The deceased son was his family’s only support. Azad Nagar police station has lodged a case against the unknown driver on the statement of the deceased’s father, Vijay, and has initiated an investigation.
