As the date of the May 25 Lok Sabha elections in Haryana draws closer, the process of selecting candidates is gaining momentum. A day after JJP announced five candidates, INLD also declared three candidates. The three candidates declared so far for the Hisar seat are from the Devi Lal family and here after the elder daughter-in-law Naina Chautala, the younger daughter-in-law Sunaina Chautala has defeated her uncle and father-in-law Ranjit Chautala. There seems to be confusion among voters due to the meeting of three members of the Devi Lal family during the election campaign. However, the Congress has not even announced candidates for any of its nine seats in the state. The BJP, on the other hand, was the first party to field its candidates in all ten seats.
Devil Family, the state’s most important political family
The Devi Lal family is a big political family and Ch. Chaudhary once reached the post of Deputy Prime Minister of the country. Devilal’s name was heard across the land. The special thing is that three members of this family from different parties are now in the race, but the votes are limited. Will demand in the name of Devilal’s politics. Ranjit Chautala of BJP, Naina Chautala of JJP and Sunaina Chautala of INLD are here on behalf of the farmers and the Kamare class. Omprakash Chautala inherited the political legacy of Devi Lal.
Devi Lal’s political legacy was owned by Omprakash Chautala before 2018. After 2019, when the BJP became the center of state politics, the BJP had increased the importance of Devi Lal’s grandson Aditya Devi Lal, who was separated from the Omprakash Chautala family. Ranjit Chautala, who conducted his politics separately from Omprakash Chautala, has now been given a chance by the BJP to make his mark in the state’s politics by naming him as its Hisar Lok Sabha candidate. The BJP has already handed over the responsibility of chairman of the National Council of State Agricultural Marketing Committee to Aditya Devi Lal.

In the elections, all three faces of the Devi Lal family will try to win voters in the name of Devi Lal and with their party’s policies. Naina Chautala, who is contesting the elections with JJP candidates, can seek votes on behalf of Devi Lal but will have to lose the name of Omprakash Chautala. Sunaina will also have the freedom to capitalize on Omprakash Chautala’s name along with Devi Lal. While along with Ranjit Chautala, his father Devi Lal’s name will also be included in the election alongside Modi’s name. Therefore, it is natural that there will be confusion among voters regarding the name Devi Lal.
Sunaina asks for rice by pretending to be Lok Sabha’s daughter
INLD candidate Sunaina Chautala has been touring the circles of Hisar Lok Sabha constituency for the past few days. Though her announcement may have been made now, given this opportunity, she has been visiting various districts of the Lok Sabha constituency in the last few days. As a daughter of Daulatpur village, Naina asks for rice by calling herself as a daughter of Hisar Lok Sabha constituency and assuring the public that after winning the elections, she will return the rice after doing Sawaya. Sunaina also received her education from FC College, Hisar.
Naina will fight with JJP amid opposition
Naina Chautala was named as the candidate of Jan Nayak Janata Party, which was an ally in the BJP government in the state. She is the mother of former deputy prime minister Dushyant Chautala. He was declared the candidate after facing public opposition in various circles of Hisar Lok Sabha constituency. Although Naina Chautala is clear that she is facing the consequences of supporting the BJP, the protesting villagers and farmer organizations have a clear question: Why did Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala keep his mouth shut?
