Haryana Weather Update : There will be a weather change starting August 19th, there is a chance of light drizzle across the state

Haryana: As the western end of the monsoon trough is north of the normal position towards the foothills of the Himalayas, the state has been seeing a drop in monsoon rain activity for more than two weeks, which can also be called the monsoon break . According to the India Meteorological Department, the state of Haryana recorded 351.7mm of rainfall since the start of the monsoon in the state through August 18, which is 18 percent more than the normal rainfall (298.2mm).

dr Madan Khichad, head of the department of agricultural meteorology at Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University in Hisar, said the western end of the Akshay line of monsoon grassland is still north of its normal position and towards the foothills of the Himalayas. However, due to the possibility of the formation of a low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal, there is a possibility that the winds will change starting August 19. Due to the influence of westerly to easterly humid winds, the weather will be changeable in the state of Haryana on the night of August 19-22 and northern districts (light to moderate rain in isolated places in Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal), but drizzle at isolated locations in South-Western districts (Mahendergarh, Rewari, Jhajjar, Gurugram, Nuh, Palwal, Faridabad, Rohtak, Sonipat, Panipat) Or chance of light rain. There is a chance of partly cloudy and scattered drizzle in some places in the western districts of Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Jind, Bhiwani and Charkhi Dadri. Meanwhile, there is a chance that the daytime temperature in the state will drop slightly.
