Haryana: The seasonal system originating from the Bay of Bengal has once again given life to the monsoon, due to which clouds accumulated and light to moderate rain activities were recorded in Haryana-NCR Delhi. Temperatures dropped again due to easterly winds blowing across the entire area. The common people have found partial relief from the humid and sweaty heat.
In the last one and a half months, the common people have been facing oppressive heat due to the monsoon break in Haryana NCR Delhi and the persistent hot and humid westerly winds along with rise in temperature. However, in the last 24 hours, the weather has changed again with cloud cover and light to moderate rain/drizzle activity occurring across the area. However, it continues to rain in Haryana NCR Delhi. There is a decrease in day and night temperatures throughout the area. Currently, the low pressure area is active around northern Bay of Bengal and adjoining Odisha coast due to which cyclonic circulation is continuing over western Madhya Pradesh and east-south Rajasthan since morning. Due to this, the India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for the entire area from September 16 to 18. However, the monsoon trough is located south of its normal position.
Relief from heat after rain, risk of rain until September 18th
The sudden change in weather on Saturday afternoon and the humid heat prevailing for 15 days brought relief to the people. People got a lot of relief from the sweltering heat as it rained across the state till evening. From nine in the morning the heat became noticeable. The humid heat was causing problems for people. At two o’clock in the afternoon the weather suddenly became dark. Then it started to rain, which lasted until the evening. The weather office has said that rain is possible in the region from September 16 to 18.
