Haryana: 12 police officers and soldiers are honored with police medals on Independence Day

Haryana: On the occasion of Independence Day, 12 Haryana Police officers and officers were selected to receive the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (PPMDS) and the Police Medal for Meritorious Service (PMMS). These medals were announced by the Union Ministry of the Interior. Two Haryana Police officers were awarded the Presidential Presidential Police Medal for Distinguished Merit and ten police officers and Jawans were awarded the Police Medal for Meritorious Merit. Deputy Superintendent of Police CID Uday Raj Singh Tanwar and Sub-Inspector Janak Kumari have been selected to receive the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

Rahul Dev DSP Jhajjar, Virendra Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Sonipat, Naveen Kumar, Deputy Sub-Inspector Hisar, Rajbala Mahila, Sub-Inspector Gurugram, Ram Pal Inspector Yamuna Nagar, Sunil Kumar, Sub-Inspector Commando Naval Karnal, Surendra Pratap were awarded the Police Medal Honored for Merit Services: Head of Panchkula State Criminal Investigation Department, Virender Kumar ASI Panchkula, Yudhveer Singh Sub Inspector Anti Corruption Bureau Gurugram and Joginder Singh ASI Rohtak.

Haryana Police Director General (DGP) Prashant Kumar Aggarwal congratulated all police officers and Jawans and said it was a moment of pride and honor for the entire police force. The recognition we receive nationally for the bravery, dedication and tireless efforts of our police officers will encourage other officers and supporters in addition to the Police Medal-winning officers. He encouraged everyone and wished them more success in the future.
