Gurugram: Police arrested two miscreants of the gang Lipin Nehra and Pawan Nehra for killing one person and injuring two persons while firing at Discovery Wine Shop in Sector-10A police station area on July 16 night. The accused, together with his associates, had committed the crime on behalf of the gangster Lipin Nehra. Police seized illegal weapons from the possession of the accused and registered a case under the Arms Act at Sector-10A police station. In this case, police have so far arrested four suspects, including Dayaram, the father of the Nehra Brothers.
ACP Varun Dahiya said police have already arrested two accused in connection with the Discovery Wine Shop incident on the night of July 16. While probing the case, Inspector Pankaj, Crime Branch Head of Sector 39, arrested 27-year-old Deepak Nagar alias Dev of Tigra village and 23-year-old Karambir alias Rohit of Charkhi Dadri of Gadauli village. During interrogation, it emerged that the accused Deepak Nagar alias Dev has known Pawan Nehra for many years and has been in contact with Pawan Nehra since his school days. At the behest of Pawan Nehra, the accused Deepak Nagar had joined the Pawan Nehra gang. After Pawan Nehra went to jail, accused Deepak came in contact with Pawan Nehra’s brother Lipin Nehra and started working at the behest of Lipin Nehra. Currently, Lipin Nehra takes care of the work of Pawan Nehra’s gang. It is Lipin Nehra who supplies the gang members with weapons and assigns them work. At the behest of Lipin Nehra, all members of the gang engage in illegal extortion, murder, and shooting to secure their supremacy.
The crime was committed due to dominance in the liquor store
On the instructions of Lipin Nehra, the accused Deepak Nagar along with his other associates Saurabh alias Sandu and Rohit had committed the crime of killing one person and injuring two by firing at Kuldeep Wine Shop near Panchgaon Chowk on July 16. Dayaram, the father of gangsters Pawan and Lipin Nehra, wanted to take over this liquor contract and therefore committed this crime to put pressure on him. Defendant Deepak Nagar knows Defendant Karambir aka Rohit through his other associate Saurabh aka Sandu. The accused Karambir alias Rohit, at the behest of his other employee Sandu, not only ensures the stay of the gang members but also provides them with financial support.
The incident was also carried out in Rohtak
Deepak Nagar, along with his other associates Rahul, Rohit and Dhilu, had carried out a deadly attack by opening fire at Rahul’s orders in Tikona Park, Rohtak. Defendant Deepak Nagar was still at large in the Panchgaon and Rohtak incidents. Haryana Police have also announced a reward of 50,000 rupees for his arrest in the Panchgaon Discovery Wine Shop murder case.
