Gurugram murder: Due to a love affair with his maternal aunt, a young man killed his maternal uncle in Sector 10. The accused first forced the maternal uncle to drink alcohol and then committed the crime by strangling him. After the incident, the body was thrown into the colony itself. As soon as the information was received, the Sector 10 police station swung into action, reached the spot and took the body into custody. In addition, those who committed the crime were arrested. The police are interrogating the accused in the case.
The deceased’s wife and nephew committed the crime.
Sector 10 police station received information that a body of a person was lying in Basai Enclave Part-2. As soon as the information came in, the police were on site and began an investigation. The deceased was identified as Mukesh, who worked as a domestic help. During investigation, police arrested late Mukesh’s wife Seema and his nephew Shekhar. ACP Crimes Officer Varun Dahiya said preliminary investigations revealed that Mukesh, a resident of Kannauj, UP, was living on rent in Gurugram’s Basai Enclave with his wife Seema. Shekhar, a resident of Dholpur, Rajasthan, also lived on rent near him. He was Mukesh’s nephew and used to drive a taxi here.
Nephew has an illicit relationship with aunt
According to the information, nephew Shekhar continued to visit Mukesh’s residence. During this period, accused Shekhar had illicit relations with Mukesh’s wife. When Mukesh came to know about this, he left his wife in the village. Thereafter, accused Shekhar along with Mukesh’s wife Seema planned to murder Mukesh to turn him away from the path. On Wednesday, accused Shekhar took advantage of the opportunity and strangled Mukesh to death. The police are interrogating the accused in the case.
