Rohtak: The Haryana State Transport Rohtak Depot has made proper arrangements for buses for the candidates of the Common Eligibility Test (CET) to be conducted for Group D posts. Candidates can travel for free by showing their admit card for the exam.

The depot’s general manager, Bharat Bhushan Gogia, said that the operations of the buses will begin from October 21 at 2 am. On October 21 and 22, 225-225 buses will ply from Rohtak depot in the morning and evening, i.e. 450-450 buses will ply from Rohtak depot on both days for the candidates. Similarly, 20 buses will ply from Meham, Sampla and Kalanaur bus stops on both days. This trip is free for the candidates and an assistant can also travel with the candidate free of charge. He said five nodal officers have also been appointed to ensure successful operation of the buses. Arvind Mann has been appointed as nodal officer for Faridabad and Palwal, Rajkumar for Karnal and Panipat, Jaiveer Hooda for Rewari, Naveen for Bhiwani and Surendra Siwach for Mahendragarh. A helpdesk has also been set up to support candidates. The helpdesk numbers can also be contacted at 82784-56000, 01262-276641 and 01262-276000. Additionally, an ambulance will be available at all bus stops in the district for the convenience of candidates.

In view of the joint entrance examination of the D group, there will be a holiday in state and private schools on October 21st.

The state government has declared a public holiday in all government and private schools on October 21 in view of the Group D common entrance examination. The Haryana Staff Selection Commission will organize the common entrance exam for D-group posts on October 21 and 22. As per the order of the Ministry of Education, no other personnel apart from the personnel deployed in the Group D Common Entrance Examination are allowed to enter the school premises.
