Gohana: Mukesh’s relatives from Mundlana village had agreed to send him to America, but the accused took him to Cambodia and released him. One of the defendants accompanying him left him there and ran away. Mukesh’s relatives got him a ticket and called him to India. After that, they tricked him again into sending him to America. The accused cheated his family of around Rs 15,000. When the defendant demanded the money back if it was not sent to America, the defendant threatened to kill her. Following the wife’s complaint, a case was registered at Sadar police station Gohana and investigation was initiated.
Monica from Mundlana village said that her family was cheated by Ravindra from Kunjpura in Karnal, Pankaj Mann, Ayesha Mohammad Arshad Karim from East Mumbai and Rohit from Chhotu Ram Colony in Sonipat in the name of sending her husband Mukesh to America. According to Monica, Rohit came to her house and said that he will send her husband to America. The deal has been pegged at Rs 25 lakh. I gave four lakh rupees in advance to get the passport made. This money was deposited into Ravindra’s account. After this, Mukesh was called to Delhi and after paying another three lakh rupees, he was sent to Dubai. Later, another four lakh rupees were demanded to make more tickets. After paying the money, Mukesh was sent to Cambodia from Dubai along with Pankaj Mann. After spending 23-24 days there, Pankaj Mann left them there and came to Delhi himself. Relatives called Mukesh to India after getting him a ticket. When the defendants were later contacted, they gave them a fake visa and ticket to send them to America. Later, he took more money from the family and sent Mukesh to Mumbai. The defendant took no further action. The defendant neither sent her husband to America nor returned the money. The police filed a complaint against the defendant and initiated an investigation.
