News2News.in news. Sonipat. The education department has started preparations for Geeta Mahotsav. Various competitions will be organized as part of the festival to ensure student participation. Furthermore, the main aim of the competition is to provide students with knowledge about culture and Geeta. Competitions are organized from school level to district level, the schedule of which has been published by the department.

Students from government and private schools can showcase their talent by participating in the competition. The competitions start on December 1st and last until December 14th. Organized by the Ministry of Education, these competitions include essay writing, recitation of Geeta verses, speeches, dialogues, quizzes and painting competitions. Students can take part in any of these events. In the competitions organized at school level, the winning students get an opportunity to showcase their talent at block level. Here only the best students can advance to the district level. The winners of the district level competition will be selected for the state level. The students are enthusiastic about the competition.

Which competitions will take place?

To write an essay : It will cover three topics: What I learned from Geeta, how Geeta changed my life and what significance Geeta had for India’s independence. Students in grades 6 to 8 must write 250 to 300 words in 60 minutes and students in grades 9 to 12 must write 500 to 600 words in 60 minutes.

Geeta verses: Each participant must recite a maximum of three verses. The participant has five to seven minutes to do this.

Dialogue competition: The contestant has to present the dialogue between Lord Krishna and Arjun and between Sanjay and Dhritarashtra during Geeta’s sermon. Students will also be able to present the teachings of Gita through shlokas.

Quiz competition: There are at least three students in each team. From whom questions based on Geeta will be asked. A maximum of four questions are asked in each round. There are a maximum of five rounds in each competition.

Painting competition: Participants have to showcase their art on the topics Knowledge of Geeta, Geeta Philosophy and Values ​​of Life, Geeta and Conservation, Geeta and Worldly Life, Geeta and Me.

This is the competition plan

  • School level: The competitions will be organized from December 1st to 6th.
  • Section level: From December 7th to 9th, students will put their talent to the test.
  • District level: The competitions will be organized from December 12th to 14th.
  • State level: From December 20th to 24th, the top students from the district level will demonstrate their talent.

Essay writing, recitation of Gita verses, speeches, dialogues, quizzes and painting competitions are organized in government and private schools on Geeta Mahotsav. Whose schedule has been published.
