Sonipat: A gang of murderers is active on the border with Uttar Pradesh bordering the district. Female decoy made a deal of Rs 35,000 to check the gender of the fetus. The woman was then taken to Jani Khurd village in Meerut district and the fetal gender test was carried out in the Brezza vehicle. It was said that the woman was pregnant with a boy. The health department team took action and arrested three people, including the operator of the medical store. The lab worker left his car where he was and ran away. Rs 30,000 was recovered from the accused and the ultrasound machine was sealed. A case has been registered against seven people at Jani Khurd police station in Meerut district.

The health department received information about a fetal gender test

The Preconception and Prenatal Diagnostic Techniques (PC PNDT) team of Sonipat Health Department received information about fetal sex determination. There was information that some people in Baghpat, Meerut and Loni in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh are getting the fetal sex test done. Thereupon the civil surgeon Dr. Jaikishore assembles a team to arrest him. The PNDT nodal officers Dr. Sumit Kaushik, Dr. Jitendra and Dr. Kiran was part of the team. A female decoy was also prepared for conducting ultrasound. The female decoy contacted Narendra Kaushik, a resident of Sonipat bus stand area. A Rs 35,000 deal was struck between broker Narendra Kaushik and Decoy to determine the gender of the fetus. On April 8, Decoy gave Narendra 5,000 rupees.

The defendant called the female decoy at the bus stop

Accused Narendra Kaushik spoke to Rampal, a resident of Sandal Kalan village, about getting the gender of the fetus tested. Rampal spoke to Shaukeen, who lives in the same village. After this, Shaukeen called the female decoy at the Sonipat bus stand. After that, Shaukeen took him to the Baghpat base and after some time, Baghpat-based medical store operator Shakti Singh reached him. Afterwards, both of them set off for Meerut with the woman. When he reached near Jani Khurd village in Meerut district, far from Baghpat, lab operator Aslam and Shahnawaz, a BSc-DMLT student of Subharti University, came there in a Brezza car. He took the woman in a Brezza car and reached near the Bhola Jal canal, 500 meters away. Upon examination, she was told that she was pregnant with a son.

The team made a raid as soon as the signal from the female decoy was received.

After the defendant checked the gender of the fetus, took the woman out of his car and left, the health department and police immediately took action as soon as they received the signal. When he saw the police coming, Meerut-based lab operator Aslam abandoned his car and ran away. While students Shahnawaz from Hapur, Shakti Singh from Baghpat and Shaukeen from Sandal Kalan were checked. Meanwhile, the PNDT team took action and recovered Rs 15,000 each from Shaukeen and Shakti Singh. The ultrasound machine, USB stick and laptop stored in the car were sealed. Thereafter, the three accused were handed over to the police and a case was registered against them at Jani Khurd police station. Meerut Nodal Officer Dr. Praveen Gautam was present with the team.
