Fatehabad: In Tohana, the panchayat minister inaugurated the building and laid the foundation stone for various development works. On the other hand, there are also increasing cases in which malicious elements break the inauguration and lay the foundation stone in the name of the minister. A similar case was brought to light in Nangli village and Bidhaikheda pastor’s village. Here too, evil elements shattered the inauguration stones. Earlier, similar cases were also reported in Indachhoi, Kanhadi and Dangra villages.

In the complaint lodged with the police, Nangli gram panchayat sarpanch Poonam Rani said that the development works carried out in the village were inaugurated by state panchayat minister Devendra Babli on December 13. The panchayat laid an inauguration stone on the way to Baljit’s fields on Bhimewala Road. At night, unknown malevolent elements shattered the inauguration board and tore it down. When he came to know about it in the morning, the sarpanch lodged a complaint with the police. The police have initiated proceedings against unknown persons for damaging public property. In the complaint lodged with the police in the second case, Sarpanch of Bidhaikheda village Ramesh Kumar said that the road from Saniana Road to Diwan Singh, Jagram and Mahavir fields in the village was inaugurated by the panchayat minister last day. On the night of December 14, unknown malicious elements destroyed the inaugural building in the name of the minister. The police are investigating the case.
