Farmers’ Movement: After Holi, Shubhakaran’s Ashti Kalash Yatra starts from Kaithal, tribute meet on 31st in Ambala

Farmers protest:The Ashti Kalash Yatra of young farmer Shubhakaran, who lost his life during the farmers’ agitation at Khanori border on February 21, 2024, has been postponed for two days due to Holi. Which was launched today, Tuesday, from Cheeka of Kaithal. This Kalash Yatra passes through many villages of Guhla-Cheeka and reaches Ambala. This Kalash Yatra is being conducted on the call of United Kisan Morcha (non-political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha. The yatra has covered many villages in Punjab as well as Panchkula, Chandigarh, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal and Kaithal in the last few days. At the same time, the farmers not only put pressure on the government, but also win the sympathy of the population.

The honorary meeting will take place in Ambala

After Hisar, a martyrdom ceremony will now be organized at the Ambala Cantt Mohda grain market on March 31, for which farmers are eagerly preparing. Thousands of farmers from Haryana and Punjab, including farmer leaders Jagjit Singh Dallewal, Amarjit Singh Mohri and Sarwan Singh Pandher, will attend the conference. It is reported that Indian agricultural economist Devinder Sharma will also attend the tribute ceremony of martyr Shubhakaran Singh on March 31.

Four rounds of talks with the government failed
