Yamuna Nagar News:Concerned about his wife and mother-in-law, Chetanya, a resident of the Satsang Vihar colony, committed suicide by jumping into the western Yamuna River near the bridge of Fatehpur village. The father of the deceased has accused three in-laws, including his wife and mother-in-law, of encouraging him to commit suicide. The police took the body into custody and handed it over to the relatives after the autopsy. Police took action by opening a case against the three suspects for assisted suicide.

According to police sources, Satpal Singh, a resident of Satsang Vihar colony, told police in his complaint that he married his 25-year-old son Chetanya to Harmeet Kaur, a resident of Rajasthan, in January last year. After marriage, Harmeet Kaur started quarreling with her son and told her mother Rajwinder Kaur and brother-in-law Sonu everything here. After that, his son’s in-laws quarreled with his son. As a result, his son was mentally disturbed. Satpal said his son left home with his friend on Saturday and asked for the bank to pay the installment. After that, he reached near the Fatehpur Bridge. Where his boy sent his friend home. After that, his son jumped from the Fatehpur Bridge into the western Yamuna Nahar. His friend informed him of the incident by telephone. He reached the scene of the accident and informed the police about the incident. With the help of divers, the police got his body out of the water. Satpal has accused Harmeet Kaur, Rajvindra Kaur and Sonu of inciting him to commit suicide. Police took action against the three accused by initiating a Section 306 proceeding.
