Charkhi Dadri: There is anger among relatives and villagers of the deceased as the accused was not arrested in the case of beating and killing an elderly person by tying his hands and legs in Un village. The police are investigating the case from all angles. When the police team arrived on Thursday to take away the family members of the deceased for questioning, there was great anger among the family members. A large number of villagers including women and children reached the police station and expressed their anger. Later, Badhra DSP Deshraj reached the police station and spoke to the people and assured them that the matter would be investigated and appropriate action would be taken.

It is noteworthy that on October 14, a case came to light in Un village in which 61-year-old Ratibhan was beaten, his hands and legs tied and murdered by poisoning. The deceased’s daughter-in-law had accused the neighbors of murder, following which the police had registered a case and were investigating the matter. On Thursday, the police team took the family members to the police station for questioning, following which other family members became upset and the villagers along with women and children reached the police station and expressed their anger. He said the person from his side was murdered and he was the complainant. Numerous police officers have reached their house to pick them up while the accused are being called to the police station via telephone.

DSP assured a fair investigation

Meanwhile, Badhra DSP reached the police station and listened to the villagers and assured them of a fair investigation into the matter and appropriate action. Kaptan Singh, in-charge of Badhra police station, said the matter was being investigated. People from both sides were interrogated. No facts have come to light yet. Further action will be taken based on the facts identified during the investigation.
