Charkhi Dadri: Last night a person coming from Mandhi Piranu village drowned in Leharu Canal near Mandhi Piranu. As soon as the information came in, the police arrived on site and, with the help of local residents, began a search operation. However, due to darkness and high water, the body could not be found. At the same time, the water was stopped from behind and on Friday morning, station manager Captain Singh and the team arrived at the site and began the search again. The youth’s body was found around 16 hours after the incident and was subsequently taken to Dadri Civil Hospital for an autopsy. The body was autopsied and handed over to the relatives.

We would like to inform you that Sanjay Mandhi, a resident of Lamba Gethda, Rajasthan, aged about 38, had joined his relatives in Piranu and drowned in the canal late in the evening under suspicious circumstances. After receiving the information, the team of villagers, Irrigation Department and police arrived at the site, but due to the high water level in the Laharu Canal and the fast current, the person could not be found. On the other hand, the responsible station reached the site on Friday morning and carried out a search operation at pump house number six, which was unsuccessful. About 16 hours after the incident in which the person drowned, her body was found in a patch of woods about 100 meters ahead in the canal. After that, the body was taken out and sent to the Dadri Civil Hospital for an autopsy, where it was handed over to the family members after the statements of the family members were taken after the autopsy. Police Chief Pradeep Kumar, who reached the Dadri Civil Hospital, said that the person slipped and fell into the sewer and that action was taken on the matter based on testimonies from family members.
