Arrived to inaugurate a school in Deoli in Sangam Vihar area of the capital Delhi. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s convoy was tried to be stopped by the local people who were troubled by the water problem. To which Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva said on Wednesday that the protest by local residents in front of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Deoli has confirmed the Delhi BJP’s stand. Delhiites are facing acute water shortage and whatever water is supplied is highly contaminated.
Severe water crisis for residents
Sachdeva has said that Tughlakabad, Sangam Vihar, Deoli are the last points of South Delhi and despite the claims of the Kejriwal government, the residents are facing severe water crisis for the past several years. Deoli residents are fed up with tubewell water pipeline and tanker water supply scams being run by the ruling Aam Aadmi Party people. Local MLA Prakash Jarwal himself has been involved in tanker racket recovery. Today’s protest in Deoli was a result of Kejriwal government’s neglect of people’s demand for proper water supply and has exposed Kejriwal government’s false claims on water supply.
