Parliament committee issues notice to AAP MP Raghav Chadha, know what is the matter

Parliament Monsoon Session: The Privileges Committee of Parliament has issued a notice to Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha. While issuing the notice, the parliamentary committee has asked the AAP MP why action should not be taken.

Let us tell you that the Privileges Committee of Rajya Sabha held a meeting in Parliament on Wednesday and decided to seek reply from AAP MP Raghav Chadha on the allegations of breach of privilege leveled against him by MP Dr. Sasmit Patra. After this, the committee has issued a notice to the AAP MP. The meeting took place in the room of Harivansh Narayan Singh, chairman and deputy chairman of the committee. In this notice, AAP MP Raghav Chadha has been asked why action for breach of privilege should not be taken against him on the allegations leveled against him.

Let us inform that the Delhi Service Bill has been introduced in the Rajya Sabha on Monday. After this this bill has been passed. During the discussion on the bill, AAP MP Raghav Chadha made a motion in the Rajya Sabha. The resolution given by the AAP MP included the names of several NDA MPs including the Bharatiya Janata Party. Sudhanshu Trivedi, Narhari Amin, Thambidurai, Sasmit Patra, Nagaland MP Phangnon Konyak were named in this proposal. After this, all the MPs accused AAP MP Raghav Chadha of forgery and denied in the Parliament itself that they had not signed any resolution.

After this episode, BJP leaders made allegations and demanded registration of criminal case against AAP MP Raghav Chadha for forgery. In this regard today the committee of the Parliament has issued a notice in the AAP MP.
