Opposition meeting: Before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the opposition is forming a grand alliance to defeat the BJP. In this election, the opposition parties will be seen unitedly standing against the BJP. Regarding this, the second meeting of the opposition parties is going to be held from tomorrow for the next two days i.e. on 17 and 18 July. This meeting is going to be held in Bengaluru. A total of 26 party leaders are going to attend this meeting. Let us inform that earlier only 24 parties were invited for this meeting, but later two more parties were also invited.
The first meeting was held in Patna on June 23
Let us tell you that two other parties which have been invited for this meeting, one is the local party of Uttar Pradesh ‘Kameravadi’ and the other is a regional party of Tamil Nadu. Earlier, the meeting of the opposition was held on June 23 in Patna, the capital of Bihar. A total of 16 parties were invited for this meeting, out of which 15 parties attended the meeting. RLD’s Jayant Chowdhary could not attend the meeting due to family programme. A total of 30 leaders attended this meeting. This meeting of the opposition was held on the call of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar.
AAP will also attend the meeting
Regarding this meeting, another screw was getting stuck regarding the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal had announced after the first meeting that he would not attend any such meeting in which the Congress party would participate, as the Congress had not cleared its stand regarding the Centre’s ordinance till then, but Today i.e. on Sunday, the Congress has agreed to support the Aam Aadmi Party against the Centre’s ordinance. After this, AAP has also announced that it will attend the meeting.
Actually, after the announcement of the Congress, a meeting was held at the residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Many leaders like Raghav Chadha, Atishi, Gopal Rai were present in this meeting. In the meeting, AAP decided that it will attend the meeting of the opposition. In this way, now a total of 26 parties are going to participate in this meeting.
