Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Chaudhary Anil Kumar has accused the Kejriwal government of increasing the circle rate of agricultural land. He said today i.e. on Tuesday that the Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi government’s decision to increase the circle rate of agricultural land is against the people of Delhi. With a view to benefit the land mafia, the Delhi government has increased the rates of circle rate of agricultural land, which smells of corruption.

He said that the Congress party would take up the issue of hike in agriculture circle rate with the Lieutenant Governor. He said that the circle rate of agricultural land should be uniform in which there is disparity. It is known that in the Central district it is 5 crore per acre while in the Eastern district it is 2.25 crore per acre. He said that in 2008 the Congress government had increased the circle of agricultural land, it was 53 lakhs per acre of agricultural land and Khadar land was 17 lakhs per acre, not only that when the Congress government had increased the circle of agricultural land in 2005, at that time 17.40 lakh and Khadar was 5.70 lakh per acre.

This is the first time that there is disparity in the circle rate in agricultural land and Khadar land has been added to agricultural land because many leaders of Aam Aadmi Party have bought land inside Khadar, so to benefit them through thief door. For this, a mix-up has been done which smacks of corruption.
