Shock to Manish Sisodia from the Supreme Court.

Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia could not get bail from the Supreme Court (SC) on Friday. Sisodia had sought interim bail citing his wife’s illness, but the court rejected his bail plea. Along with this, the court also said that the bail application will be considered in the second week of September.

Let us inform that earlier the Delhi High Court had also refused to grant bail to Manish Sisodia. After this, Sisodia challenged the Delhi High Court’s decision in the Supreme Court. On July 14, the High Court, while hearing his interim bail plea, had said that it would hear the matter on August 4. The Supreme Court will now hear Manish Sisodia’s interim bail pleas on September 4 in two cases related to the Delhi Excise Policy. These cases are being investigated by CBI and ED.
