Delhi Weather: People in Delhi-NCR have got relief from the scorching heat. After a long wait, the rain has given relief to the people. Today i.e. Friday, it is raining in Delhi from around 3 pm. Due to this, there has been a drop in temperature. The Meteorological Department had already told that it may rain in Delhi-NCR for the next 4 days from today. In such a situation, the activity of rain brought a smile on the faces of the people. For almost a week, the people of Delhi were troubled by the scorching sun. People were waiting for the monsoon, so that people could get relief from the heat due to monsoon rains.
The Meteorological Department said that light to moderate rain may occur in Delhi NCR till June 19. It is clear from this that the temperature of Delhi will remain low for the next 2-3 days. According to the Meteorological Department, during this time the maximum temperature of Delhi is going to be between 38-39 degrees and the minimum temperature will also be up to 27 degrees. Along with this, light rain with wind speed of 30-50 kmph can also occur on June 18-19.
Chances of rain in UP and Haryana including Delhi
The Meteorological Department said that the people of Delhi NCR will get respite from the heat today and for the next 3 days. Today, there has been a drop in the temperature along with light rain in Delhi. The department said that apart from Delhi, till June 19, rain activity can also be seen in Haryana and Bihar. However, severe heat wave conditions would also prevail at many places along the coast. There is a possibility of heat wave for 3 days at some places in Bihar. Apart from this, the effect of heat wave will be seen in West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh for one day each and in East Madhya Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh for two days.
