New Delhi: A three-storey house collapsed due to a cylinder blast in Delhi’s Nangloi area. In this accident, 8 people including 2 children were injured. Here on Monday morning at 4.30 am, due to gas leakage, there was an explosion due to fire in the cylinder. The information of this accident was immediately given to the police and the fire department. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and started rescue work with the local people.

A man named Vikas lives with his wife Simar and two children on the third floor of a building in Nangloi’s Kunwar Singh area. Today, on Monday, around 4.30 am, Simar went to heat milk for her baby girl. As soon as Simar lit the gas, the kitchen immediately caught fire. After this he tried to control the fire, but he could not extinguish the fire. After this, the fire increased in no time and the cylinder exploded. The three-storey house also collapsed due to the cylinder blast. In this incident, 8 people including 2 children were seriously injured on the spot. When the sound of cylinder explosion reached the ears of the people, people gathered around. After this, the local people informed the police about the incident. After this police and fire tenders reached the spot and started rescue and relief work.

According to the locals, the fire started due to leakage in the pipe in the gas cylinder. Due to the explosion of the cylinder, most of the building collapsed. Regarding this incident, the local police inspector Umesh Rana said that somehow 8 people were pulled out from the debris, in which 8 people including 2 children were seriously injured.
